In the world of Myspace and Facebook, it is a problem to keep this site updated:) so for those who don't follow on those pages:

The new Trottel Stereodream album untitled EMBRYO is out, a full lenght album /49min./ and for all those who like the band with more guitar, i can say that there is lots of guitar and steel guitar on it:)

Considering this important thing, Trottel will be touring not less than before. The myspace site is always updates myspace.com/trottelstereodreamexperience.

For this spring coming, we also plan the second tour for hungarian old school hc. band, Tisztan a Cel Fele /myspace.com/tisztanacelfele/ around the east side of Poland.

Our duo project RUPASOFF recorded the first couple of songs for a mini album. The past season worked out well, we had lots of fun on tour so we'll keep moving around but we got to make a record first:)

Time’s going fast! It’s been 20 years that the crazy hungarian band Trottel hit the roads of Europe with the aim to go to play everywhere, where there is a concertplace. 20 years passed, the music changed several times and a lot. Many people don’t like this constant changing and would like to hear those romantic tunes from the past.
But Trottel is not a ghost from the past! It is a living thing with present and ideas for the future. This is why there is no return, nostalgia and digging out of old dead songs, sorry!

But Tamas doesn’t want to be cruel to you. From september 2009 a duo will go on tour playing those old, romantic bass tunes with the line-up of drums and bass…and also, to be progressive a little bit, some new tunes too!

Next two weeks Trottel is stereodreaming in Germany and Czech! The band started the recordings of a new album which will come out around the end of the year under the title 'Embryo'. As usual, some old and new people with new instruments:) BE CURIOUS!

New tourdates for Trottel in Poland the beginning of may!

The 23 april the Polish Television comes to Budapest and makes a 25 min. program about Trottel with interview, rehersal filming etc. It will be brodcasted around the middle of may in the program called East Front.

In june, a very special thing will happen: We 'll play in Poland with the hungarian Pink Floyd Tribute band. They play Pink Floyd song from the early, psychedelic times... They're really good! If you like Pink Floyd...and Trottel:) come and see us!

Trottel Stereodream's european tour starts in 2 days. One step ahead mini album will be on the stalls during the tour and it will be possible to buy it online from Songs.hu from next week. You can order it from us or the distributor Periferic records

Trottel tour is almost complete now. We still got the 1st.and 2nd march coming home from Poland to Budapest if anyone would like to invite us to play. Also, the video recorded during our christmas concert in Slovakia is up on myspace and youtube.

It would be easy to say that this long silence was because of lazyness... You may noticed that we have a myspace site now.. 2008 is going to bring us many new challanges: Right at the beginning of february we 'll surprise you with a new Trottel CD. We keep exploring the core of eclectism and we do hope that you 'll find it as interesting as we do. Some of you could already hear our new program in Slovakia and Poland....The band is going to tour Europe in february, we still have some free dates, anyone who got an idea or wants to invite us to play is welcome. You can see the tourdates on the tour page. Our former singer Todd became a drum n bass dj. under the secret name of Q the Physicist. If you are in Budapest try to find him, he plays good stuff. Our Music Farm project will go on as well this summer we gonna make free festivals...just in case if you plan your holidays in Hungary... I think That's all for the moment!

A space in the center of Hungary and center of our heart:) There's gonna be -sooner or later - all different sorts of farm festivals but first, the12-15 july the FREEFEST underground jamboree. Happy 2006 to all of you! Trottel hit the road soon again. Tours from february, details on the tours page. The new year begins with many plans and dreams, in april Embryo will be our guest. 2006 is the hungarian cultural season in Germany so we plan a tour for this occasion. The Trottel stereodreamer's workshop proudly present Todd, again the stage with us and also Rita, the crazy saxplayer who already played in the band for couple of gigs a year and a half ago.

It took me this much time to understand the new system to upload the stuff on our server... well... in this heat i'm not surprised... however, with the aim to profit this ocassion there is a Trottel interview with Tamas uploaded, in polish, after the last Trottel tour in Warsaw... and in fact, all the pages which are supposed to be updated are updated now.... In the meanwhile, after the polish tour Trottel made their debut in Romania during rocklamures festival.... we waited 15 years for this... Looking forward to our futur tour in Roumania, hopefully in october 2oo5.

Well, it always takes time to see where things go... After last year's dutch tours in the following season we mainly focus on Poland. Trottel is going to tour in march. Navrang will present themselves to the polish public as well and they also go to Germany in april. Trottel will have another small tour in the north of Poland in may. After this long summer here we are with some news again.

The Hungarian cultural season starts in Holland. For this occasion many interesting bands and artist will perform there, if interested visit www.hungarofest.hu site or if you want to know where our bands will be, check out our tour site.

In fact, the very big news is that Todd Williams from Trottel stereodream finished his book planned since long years. It is about hungarians written for hungarians and by publishing his stuff Trottel s going to become soon, end of october a book publisher as well.... Which was an old dream... basically the idea was born already when we started to release records. The book will have an english version as well sooner or later...

Well, Trottel have just finished this rather unusual east european tour. The 3oth april, for the last time before all these countries joined the EC. we went up north crossing all those so much hated borders of slovakia,czech and poland and the day after, 1st of may back down.... the way back was sligtly easier, i must admit.... Then couple of days later a true and real big suck at the bosnian border..... we finally managed to enter Bosnia after a horrible 8 hours of waiting and many interesting things happened... i'll try to write longer about it when io calm down.... In Mostar / remember, the very old bombed bridge etc.. / we got invited to a filmfestival in september where we gonna make music for a film... we dont know which yet but it all seems to be very interesting...

This week, Trottel Stereodreamers in Bosnia for the first time! On the bands' page, you can find the link to our new discovery, a very talented group from Hungary called NAVRANG. Go to see their site, hear some of their mp3's. Navrang's album will come out on Trottel records later on this year and slowly we 'll start setting up their first tour in Europe. They also have a webshop where they sell all kinds of interesting wodden instruments....

We are all very curious about it. Otherwise, we welcome on the stage of the Trottel Stereodream Experience our young collegue Rita on saxophone.

!PEACE NOT WAR! international double CD compilation is out, coming from England. Many interesting unknown bands and also big ones like Massive Attack, Chumbawamba, Asian Dub, Slovo, Crass gave their name and song to this project in order to support international peace movement. You can order this from us for 25 euros post paid or also from Energiaklub The Cd is available in Europe via different peace groups.

The first Trottel Stereodream tour in Bosnia is getting together, we're really looking forward to do this. Todd's book is getting ready as well, it's about strange hungarian habits and the big fat hungarian sausage what he thinks is the main hungarian thing. Otherwise, Todd's new violin will be ready soon too in the czech republic so he says we can soon see him again on Trottel's stage... Why did'nt he go to India? well, you must ask this from him.

The new era begins this months. From this week end coming The Trottel Stereodream Experience have their new-old front woman, Ildi, back in the band after 11 years. Todd is going first to the states to visit his family then he goes to India for few months. He ll be back, he says. We hope so, we gonna miss him

Welcome Ildi, Trottel s first singer again in the team. Ildiko Asztalos stopped playing with us in 1991 and comes back now with new energy and the same mystical voice:-). She is already traelling with the band but her first official appearence will be on the 5th of august at Sziget festival on WAN2 stage.  It is funny that with her in the band again the number of original member is 3 now...... who knows where this leads to............

Another hungarian band is going to start touring outside of Hungary..... The relatively young POZVAKOWSKI  formed on the ruins of LAVA plays a noisy psychedelic stuff with full multimedia set up. 5 projectors projecting to different directions. Their first tour will happen at the beginning of october, this year. More info about them on the site later.........

Embryo s short visit in Hungary and Slovakia worked out really well. Only one thing was disturbing. Yesterday on the way to Dunajska Streda Slovakia, the slovak custom officers stopped them and checked their truck for 3 hours. Because of safety reasons 2 of the band had to eat up all  the shit they got on them. They just phoned from Wienna, everything s ok but the 2 guys are still totally stoned...

At the end of the month Trottel will visit Slovakia for 3 dates, see tourpage. The 29th april in Gyor at the mediawave festival, in the cynagog we gonna combine our music with a photoexhibition opening where local ballet dancer s will explore and join  the trottel  live spirit....  there are other big news but let s wait some more time before letting you know.
